1. Could you tell a bit about your career in Kyivmetalloprom?
(The questions were answered by Sergey Prilepko, the director of OJSC Kyivmetalloprom) In 2006 I was proposed a position of deputy director for capital construction at OJSC Kyivmetalloprom. At that very time the idea of construction of a logistic complex, able to be competitive on the market of logistic services and supply our region with deficient spaces occurred. That complex (10 thousand square meters) was constructed and it was leased in November 2007.  Later I was promoted to the director of OJSC Kyivmetalloprom.

Many enterprises in Byelorussia have to pay for lease of storage as for lease of a prestigious office. But such expenditures are beyond means for some enterprises, and that is why they are ready to turn their administrative areas to warehouse. Marina Kutsenko explored the prospects in decision of this problem. This storage is in center of Minsk. It belonged to a worsted combine before. Now the premise is leased by a commercial enterprise. It is very comfortably to keep commodity here: 860 square meters allow to place boxes compactly, and a freight elevator considerably simplifies work of employees.

Иностранные компании, осваивая российский рынок, используют современные системы управления товарными потоками и активно влияют на формирование соответствующей системы складской обработки товаров. Однако недостаточное предложение складских услуг со стороны 3PL-операторов и не удовлетворение торговых компаний спектром, полнотой предоставляемых им услуг вынуждает многие торговые компании развивать собственные складские системы. Так, активное развитие розничных торговых сетей инициировало создание ими собственных оптовых и распределительных центров.  

Объем перевезенных автомобильным транспортом грузов между Россией и Беларусью увеличился в 2006 году по сравнению с 2005 годом на 6,3%. За 8 месяцев 2007 года в сравнении с аналогичным периодом прошлого года объем перевозок грузов снизился на 3% и составил 3142,3 тыс. тонн. Однако, в настоящее время сохраняется дисбаланс в работе российских и белорусских перевозчиков на двустороннем рынке в пользу белорусских перевозчиков

В Беларуси через 2-3 года должны активно действовать торгово-логистические центры. Согласно распространенному правительственной пресс-службой заявлению премьер-министра Беларуси Сергея Сидорского, главным исполнителем должно стать государственное объединение "Белресурсы"

In 2015 50% of total freight car fleet will belong to private operators, private structures will also carry out 15% of passenger transportations. The deputy director general of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Anatoliy Lashko announced such prognoses at the press-conference.

According to the analysis report of the company Cushman&Wakefield, according to the results of 2007 till the end of 2007 about 500 thousand sq.m. of sale areas will be built in Moscow, DAH reports. According to information of Market Report, the general volume of consumption of polypropylene in Ukraine according to the results of the first half of 2007 increased for 11%. Thus the volume of import grew even more – for 19%. As compared to the last year, there is renewal of increase dynamics at the level of 2001-2005 years, unlike 2006, when the estimated consumption of polypropylene (PP) at the Ukrainian market grew only for 4%

The analytical company IDC published an annual report about a PC market situation in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE - Central and Eastern Europe), in obedience to which Ukraine ranks third on the total volume of regional deliveries (1,54 million devices, 9,7% of the total volume of CEE market), after Russia (7,36 millions, 46,2 and Poland (2,4 millions, 15,1%)
