Dash Computer Products started trading in 1992, offering Printronix line printers to major manufacturing and distribution companies, often running connected to Mainframe or Mini computers in mission critical applications.  Often these printers were being used to print dot matrix barcodes and so Dash expanded it's capabilities to respond to a requirement from these customers for all types of barcode related products.  Over the following years Dash extended it's range of barcode related products and services, with thermal barcode printers being one of it's biggest selling products.  Barcode labelling software and barcode scanners were added to the portfolio and the knowledge base needed to support these complex products to the standards demanded by corporate clients grew and grew
