According to the normative and technical documentation the container (packing) is defined as means or as a complex of means providing protection of production and the environment from damages and losses and facilitating the process of the commodity circulation. “The process of circulation” means transportation, warehousing, storage and realization of commodity production. The container (packing) can be classified by various criteria: intent, material, structure, technology of production. In its turn it is possible to classify the packing by functional intent: industrial, transport, consumer, special (preserving).
